I'm all in. I got this score on CD when it came out for my 14th birthday and, while I am not a Williams devotee, I think its one of his best. Combine that with the nostalgia I feel for the film and I'll be snapping this up for sure. Lots of folks that are crazy for Mondo grew up on this flick and I'd wager everyone on this board owns a few soundtracks for nostalgic reasons alone. For a lot of folks this fits that bill and is a great composition to boot.

I finally got around to receiving my Omen...it was the variant version.
My order got pulled aside by the postal service (I've been away for a couple of weeks too) and I had to provide proof of purchase and arrange re-delivery. They put additional charges on too...the swines.

That aside...super stoked that I received the variant and the whole package does look great, an iconic soundtrack too. All just as well imo...I've ended up paying through the nose for this particular one (no fault by way of Mondo) due to the postal mafia!

I'll pick up the Jurassic Park LP. I can see how it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for me it definitely appeals to my nostalgic side.

I'm thinking this will be a big seller with the release of "Jurassic World" next year. Media and marketing are staring to hit the internet now.

I'm all in on Jurassic Park. I don't know why anyone wouldn't be :)

Well, that's answered my question then. I still don't understand the appeal, but fair enough :)

Not my cup of tea but I understand the appeal. I would have still gladly purchased one if the art was cool, but i'm definitely not into it. A film like JP deserved a really epic cover treatment.

Mondo just announced their next release will be The Visitor (1979) in May. Awesome news. Awesome score. Cannot wait for this. Top two or three announcements this year for me.

While I'm completely enjoying the modern soundtrack sound of the last few years when I heard the Jurassic Park I was excited by the big orchestrated sound and it actually seemed fresh to my ears so I'm in for this one

Totally up for the Jurassic Park release. I'd say pretty much undeniably a classic score. :)

anybuddy here able to get a Paranorman RSD Glow in the Dark splatter to you know, actually glow? Seems no amount of time left in the light properly "charges" her up. Still cant figure out what color my LPs are. Great soundtrack, btw.

It took me a while and the use of a dedicated light, but I did eventually get my copy to glow blue - which was pretty amazing considering there was no hint of blueness in the vinyl before that.

mine glows decent. it is the green one. the glowing ghosts on the cover don't glow for shit, but it was a cool idea. i agree about the soundtrack. listened last night and loved it.

Mine definitely glows red and has a hint of red to it when not glowing. Also, it doesn't sound like total shit which is a plus for GITD

It does appear that hi glow = low sound quality. I will say though that even though it sounds terrible, with my glow hills have eyes you could find your way around in a power cut :)

thanks for the replies dudes! glad to know I wasn't the only one not getting it to glow so easy. That's pretty funny about needing the "special light" I should give that a try! I agree, not terrible of sound quality for a glow disk. Although somewhat related there is still a part of me that thinks Mondo is just using CD masters for all of their vinyl anyways. Their releases never sound all that spectacular to me. Something "off" about 'em
