Space: 1999, Italian style

Beat Records has posted Morricone's music for the Italian theatrical version of "Space: 1999." In that post, it mentioned that our friends Death Waltz will be doing the vinyl release:

I had no idea Morricone was connected to "Space: 1999." I'll have to search out some samples.

I saw this on the back of one of the newer release obi.

I was originally so confused, but it makes more sense now and I am much more interested in this release now.

Great news!

Speaking of Italian space music, that Michelini 'la conquista Di luna' reissue from schema is great. And $22 is a lot less than $600+, so I'm thrilled they reissued it.

oh damn! how could i have missed this?

now that i see the track titles i realize they have used some cues from the Dimensioni Sonore library series.

this one is a must have...

Spun this today. Indeed I think@million is right about the dimensioni cues. And some cues in the beginning sound very much like gruppo? It's very well done and the color vinyl plays nice and clean with no issues. I'd grab one... Love the edda track at the end too.
