Was that in the DW store? Then it would appear it isn't possible to ship to any countries at the moment...

Is it all the watching and refreshing that broke it?

Since we have this place now, maybe have a forum section that is only available to users with over a certain number of posts, with a bit more detail on release times etc. that way its more likely to be interested parties get records, rather than scalpers and flippers?

NO it our shitty hosting company. This is the nail in the coffin for them. We have no idea what they have done but now no one can buy anything as they have wiped the shipping classes.....
That's not a bad idea about a sub forum...

Yeah it sure sounds good about the forum for people who are not buying for the look just to sell.

I saw you mentioned it was 1&1, had bad experiences with them before too, and I didn't have anywhere near the traffic I expect you get! Better off rid I guess :)

Also adding this here: The Fog LPs were at Amoeba Hollywood this afternoon, not sure if there's any left, but definitely call and see if they'll hold one for you!

Really happy to see the track listing printed on the centre labels of The Fog. The whole package is really well done!

Looking at the House by the Cemetery LP here, the center labels are different from previous releases & have the tracks listed as well. I had first noticed that with pics of The Fog & I was hoping that was gonna be the new layout for DW releases from here on out. They look good!

Website update

virtual pudding (our site designers) were up past 3AM working on fixing things. They purchased a VPS server overnight and registered a temp domain. The temporary domain name means that you will get redirected for the next few days so don't panic about that. This also means that the site will be up and running late afternoon UK time.

I would say best thing at this point is to delay the release until the site is sorted? Takes some pressure of you Spencer, and gives us a break from our PC's ;) lol.

Hi Spencer, I have a friendly question regarding mastering that I've been pondering for a while - how does it work with your re-issues? Do you always newly re-master for vinyl, or source existing (vinyl) masters? And do you ever have to use CD masters for the releases? I'm not asking because I've noticed anything odd with the DW releases (they sound great) but just out of curiosity.....I can't imagine that it's cheap getting new masters for each release and in some cases there's possibly gonna be one already out there (ie Escape from NY?) I have noticed with some vinyl OST reissues that they've possibly used a master intended for CD/digital (funnily enough, with a lot of Blaxploitation stuff for some reason?) and they sure sound different when compared to the originals. Kinda like, reverse engineering a master from analogue-to digital-and back to analogue? Complicated question?? :)
