A bit harsh for local hero Eric Adrian Lee, who has created some of my favorite album covers from the last many years, but I will admit he has done much better work than these two. I have to admit I would personally prefer Wes Benscoter's recent interpretation for The Church:

Yeah that artwork is so good, I have the special edition bluray with that artwork and a small folded poster as well. While I don't like the design of those new LPs the packaging is quite nice, the foil titles are really slick looking. Spencer posted photos from an angle so you can actually see how they look and it's impressive. Even if it is kind of generic artwork.

Trauma is overdue a rewatch. I don't recall it especially fondly and, along with Stendahl Syndrome, struck me as super icky with all the prurient daughter-nudity and (in the latter case) hardcore Asia-rape scenes. Yeesh. Crazy family!!

It happens, I usually love Luke Insects work but his design on Warriors Of The Year 2072 does nothing for me. Whether it's personal choice on their part or some one else idea they are realizing, sometimes I just don't care for it.

i think he (EAL) does a great job with his art capturing the aesthetic of a particular era, and in that case, the artwork is fitting. WotY2072 is cool but a little synthwavy which i'm not sure fits with the score or movie.

Awesome! I really wanted Halloween 6. Although, they must have known, so leaving some space in the box would have been nice

You act like they are not going to release the rest of the soundtracks through Resurrection , sell a second box for 6-R, then sell a separate box 6 months later that is big enough for 1-R but also sell all new variants to fill your new complete box!

Haha true. Although for me, Halloween 6 is the last I'd buy personally, MAYBE H20. Resurrection....I forget that movie exists sometimes...

Joking aside, I will buy Halloween 6. I don't think I would buy H20 or Ressurection unless they were sub $25 (which we all know it won't be)

Be fascinating to read/see an interview with Spencer about 'the ones that got away'.

Recall one of us on the board randomly receiving a test pressing of a Charlotte Hatherley synth score with an Christmas order that Death Waltz never ended up actually releasing...

Also, remember him talking about licensing 20 or 30 Italian Giallo scores a few years back, only a handful of which ever surfaced... of which Frizzi's Seven Notes in Black was one. Would still love that on 'wax'.

Please some one make this happen!

Honestly the Italians will license their stuff to just about anyone, maybe one of us should do it :)

I asked Spencer about that a few years ago, i can't remember the whole fo the conversation but there was something wonky about the licensing and i think some of it lapsed before he could get more out. i think he still has a few though (or at least he did a few years ago) so it could just be a release schedule thing. at the recent panel they said that they had a full release roster through 2021 i think
