Thanks for the recommendation on the Tired Tape Machine, it's really good! I didn't manage to get it from Death Waltz cos I was too slow, but Norman had it. I can see the comparisons with Death & Vanilla but it also reminds me of bits of Mogwai & Lambchop. Lovely stuff!

If any of you guys are into that Pere Ubu – Carnival Of Souls album that DW just put out in the Distributed Titles email...you might be interested in the first two albums of a band called The Good Life. Maybe. I rarely like pop records with vocals, but the first two from The Good Life really stuck with me...very catchy, but experimental and has some strange noises 'n things thrown in to create a bit of pleasurable havoc in your pop listening experience. The singer is Tim Kasher, from famed emo band Cursive.

Basically I try and avoid things that others are doing and just sell thing that I love .

The idea was to sell non soundtracks really so things like Le Matos etc but there is a ton of good stuff out so we have started to carry all sorts (as long as they pass the DW quality test)
