Wow. That Forbidden World artwork is just (subjectively) horrible. But thats whats good about Deathwaltz - they are not afraid to experiment. The Ms.45 one's (subjectively) great though.
On a unrelated note, the discography section of the website, where they list pressing info, is really great. I never noticed it before.

Yeah, Ms.45's cover is maybe the the most beautifull cover ever made by DW and on the other hand , the Forbidden World one the worst!

Hopefully the variants go up on LITA. I'm a subber, and would like to get the variants of both as well, but I'd rather not pay almost twice as much with the exchange rate to get them from DW (already did that with the Sub). I'd probably just go without the clear ones.

Yeah, that's new. The info is only available so far for the two new releases, but Spencer said he would update all the other releases as well.

I'm enjoying the FW soundtrack at the moment - the download was zip files. Very good stuff, reminds me a lot of the band 'ZOMBI' in places. Someone mentioned INSEMINOID? That would be a good one to release.

I guess paying an extra $15 a piece for the variant and download through DW is worth it. I wish at least the variants (without download) were available through LITA. Oh well, better safe than sorry.

I'm gonna give it a day or two before I grab them off the DW Store (glad they show current stock levels). LITA should get the variants since they did with the last three releases, but I guess Spencer hasn't communicated that yet (he did say they'd start selling them Friday), so it seems they're only gonna list what they know for sure they'll get (smart move).

I don't really need to get the Ms 45 variant since it's just split and the sub is most likely a splatter or swirl. But with Forbidden World, the sub has glitter which seems to add more noise, so I'd rather get the other color for listening. I am glad to see he brought back the black with glitter for a 12", as it looked really great on the RSD 7".

I think it's safe to say I've got a vinyl addiction. It's probably not a good thing for a grown adult to be fixated over the different colors of records and which ones he's gonna buy.

I like the Forbidden World art a lot, reminds me of Dirty Hardcore/Horror-zine kind of art. Much different approach than the beautiful painting of Ms. 45; I like it! Variety!

Hi Guys, need your help.
I just made a big order to LITA. It includes Maniac US Version, Ms. 45 and Forbidden World. I ordered them together to get better shipping rates to chile.
This is the second time I order from them, last one was AOP13.
Well, once I finished my order, i realized that they're not offering the limited edition/color that DW has on their page. I know it says "limited to DW Website", but in the past, i'm almost sure, LITA always had the same editions than DW website for US costumers.
Is this ok? I am wrong maybe? Because in that case I will ask them to cancel my order, if they can, to get a more limited edition from DW.
Glad if anyone can help me. I'm sad about this, because as I told you, it's big money for me, and i'm on a place with no internet, so I bought them with my iphone and had no conditions to check to colors until now(I assumed that it was the same). Sorry for my english, I hope everyone understand what i'm trying to tell!.

Not to be a bigger complainer (sorry! and no seriously offence Spencer), but it sounds like the MP3s from Forbidden World were maybe ripped from the vinyl or something went wrong? Some weird static is going on there that's kinda driving me crazy. I think I'll have to wait for the vinyl to arrive on these. I've ruined way too many albums because of janky, low-quality digital versions and don't want that to happen with Death Waltz stuff.

Spencer, I'm having a little trouble with the Forbidden World download. I've tried downloading the zip, but it is timing out about a third of the way through. Of course, the zip file that I get doesn't work. I was going to try at work tomorrow, but now I've hit the limit of my downloading, so I'm stuck. Any help is appreciated -- thanks! Mike Woodring

So the guys from LITA have been telling everyone on Facebook comments they are only getting the Frosted Clear variant. Hopefully Spencer can confirm that soon.

I'm thinking that LITA are getting these color variants. The DW Discogaphy says it's 600 copies of those colors for each release, and I don't think DW put up 600 copies on their store, as they're already down to around 300 left of each.

Actually, no. They did put 600 up. I saw when they first went live. They sold half the stock in the first 24 hours.

Indeed, they did put 600 up, but the stock was reducing at a fairly steady rate, and then seemed to suddenly jump from c.550 down to around 350. Since then, the stock level has again reduced fairly steadily - maybe that jump in stock level indicates that a couple of hundred were removed so that LITA could be supplied with variants.

I saw a screening of Under The Skin a few months ago. I would love to see it get the Death Waltz treatment. Definitely one of the creepiest soundtracks i've heard in a while.

For those interested, LITA now have their pre-orders listed as the WHITE/BLACK SPLIT and BLACK, BLUE, & WHITE SPLATTER variants for Ms. 45 and Forbidden World.

I would assume that those of us who ordered when the site had them listed as frosted clear vinyl will now be getting these variants, but I shot LITA an email just to verify.
