Whoa, that one looks like it's got more red than the other picture posted, but it's cool that one side looks very different than the other. That's definitely the vanilla, but the red looks a lot darker.

Looks like brown from here :)

Well I'm not looking at it in person, so it's hard to tell. It does look darker than the red on the swirl version. So brown huh?

Spencer posted pics of the standard versions of New York Ripper and Room 213 on Instagram, so that's pics of all the new release versions.

Has anyone had any pressing problems? My sub copy of Room 237 has some kind of skip or glitch at the end of Ignorance of Visual Information. Can't see a scratch or anything, so wondering if it's either a pressing flaw or some kind of dirt.

Also does anyone know:

Do DW press spares for the sub editions?

What the best email address is to get a reply from? I've noticed a few saying replies aren't always that speedy

So it seems like there's 3 variants of each release?

My non sub version of Room 237 has arrived in orange/red swirl.. and NY Ripper in solid green

Wow -- I haven't seen any comments anywhere from other people with the same mis-printed AOP13 sleeve issue as me. I guess that must make my copy "ultra rare and collectible..." !? :)

I'll post a couple pictures innabit - though it's kinda hard to photo the outside and inside of the sleeve at the same time, but I'll give it a go!

Hoping DW can replace at some point, anyhow.

Hey @glennmichael, I just saw your Instagram post and asked you about it there. So if it's not a sub pressing, that's weird since they don't list it for sale to buy. I like that version better than the split pressing. I'm not a fan of split colors, as sometimes there's a quality issue where you can hear it going from color to color; that happened with my Goblin split color ep, so I got a solid red one which sounded a lot quieter.

Hi there kissoffboardy,

No, you're not the only one with this issue - my (sub) copy appears to have a skip/glitch at the precise same place (or close enough - at around the halfway point of 'Ignorance Of Visual Information', the needle seems to skip forward towards the end of the track, and then lock into a scratchy-sounding loop) - so I suspect this is unfortunately a pressing issue.

Anybody else out there had the same problem? Hopefully for DW's sake it's just a few stray sub copies and not the whole batch...

@dumaisaudio Yea, i've only seen pictures of the split variant so was pleasantly surprised when I took the record out to listen to.

you guys are all killing me with all this talk of AOP13, room 237, and ripper. i don't even have a ship notification from LITA yet!

Just checked my sub version and it doesn't have this issue. Sorry to hear your copy's seems to be effected. Definitely not a tracking issue is it? I used to have records that would skip before I set my table up properly.

Speaking of the new releases, I thought Spencer had a locked groove put in at the end of side A of AOP13. That high pitched whine went on forever.

My subs arrived today....looking good and well worth the wait :-)

A lot of people getting their subs now... Did any of you get a lithgraph/art print with it? Have I misunderstood something in expecting to get one? Don't want to bother Spencer if its just me being a muppet...

Sadly there are no numbered art prints this time. A real pity as that for me differentiated the sub versions as true limited editions from the standard ones. Have to say I'm a bit disappointed about it just being a vinyl variant - I don't really care that much about what colour vinyl I'm spinning.... I'm just hoping that whatever the truly exclusive items that come along compensate for the 40% extra (£28 as opposed to £20) I'm paying for each release.

Don't get me wrong - the package is great as always, music, artwork and now info - but am I the only one who feels slightly underwhelmed at a 'not numbered'(unless I'm missing a number somewhere?) limited edition?

An email from LITA says that they expect AOP13 to arrive at their warehouse this week then shipping will begin.

I'm going to have to get a Blu-ray player soon for the new AOP13 release, too.

Interesting. I don't think it's necessary to reissue Twin Peaks, I'm sure most people on here already have it. Fire Walk with Me is rare though, so that'll be cool.

I'm all for the reissues of Twin Peaks and Fire Walk With Me. By far the best thing I've heard in awhile...if it's true that is.

Twin Peaks?!? That would be awesome if DW did this.

I agree about the numbered prints, or something like that. I'm in the US and I paid about $300 for the sub with the exchange rate. The individual releases are $20 from LITA. I know shipping isn't cheap, but I've paid around 50% more for the sub versions over the retail ones. I did that because I do love DW and want to support them. But I also think there should be something more special about the sub releases than just the color, considering the price. Adding numbering is free (just the time it takes to hand number them all). Adding prints can't add to much to the bottom line. Or a screen printed outer sleeve? Something to really set the subs apart from the standard issues. I hate to complain about it, as I don't want to be that guy Spencer, cause I'm a huge fan of the label and what you do, just trying to give some thoughts from a fan.

@pitch, couldn't agree more. I was under the impression the Sub package would go above beyond picking up the individual releases, but to be honest (and grizzly) the non-sub variants of AOP13 and Room237 are much better colourings. Anyway, am sure we'll see soon enough, if it's simply a tote Im not sure I'll F5 Sub 4.

Also don't want to be complainy guy, but in addition to paying more for sub, we were told there would be "12 x 12 lithograph" with each record. Its still up there in the description of sub three on the website. I definately wouldnt have bought it if they were not included. Be good to hear from DW about why they were dropped, and given we have paid for them (or at least paid after being told we would get them) what we can look forward to instead. DW are a cool label, but at the moment i feel a bit like i have been missold really expensive records and am thinking of asking for a refund.

Twin peaks by death waltz is an awesome news...the fact that subscribers editions doesn't have anything special anymore is not!

Sadly I feel I have to add yet another voice of disappointment here. When I think of the sum of money I spent on sub3 and see what the records go for on other websites I feel a bit ripped of. Since there are no lithographs, which were promised on the dw website, no box to hold sub 3 or anything except sketchy information about a tote bag (I mean come on! A tote bag!). The only thing working in favour of a sub right now seems to be that the subs have different colorways, which is a pretty crummy argument for all that extra money I spent. The way I see it DW need to shed some light on this matter to put alot of people's minds at ease. Because I for one don't spend a load of cash on a sub unless there are some worthwhile perks down the line. And right now there are none as I see it. But hey, Spencer and his crew might have something up their sleeves that we are not aware of at the moment. So please DW, go ahead and blow our minds...
