Yes it's ripped off vinyl, this was at the request off Rook films and Andy & Ben directly.
When we announced we were doing it we stated I was ripping it from my record at home.
These cassettes are a bit of fun for both us & Rook and should be for you guys too.

Has anyone got their AOP13 yet? Have the subscriber editions shipped yet? I can't wait for this one, I have been playing the cassette a bunch (got it from Mount Analog) but can't wait to drop the needle. I wonder what the subscriber color will be? I ordered vanilla swirl from LITA as well as this one is a favorite of mine. I am in the US so I imagine others will start getting theirs before me. Time to call the wife and have her stop at the post office on the way home just in case.

absotutely! I do hope my comments didn't come off as complaints, more just observations. I definitely don't buy cassettes for their audiophile qualities...

I don't want anyone to get nicked for extra money when they don't have to. Tapes are shipping next, I'll make sure that is covered when they go out. I have stock here in the States again, I'll be sure to cover that ground.

Just went to buy AOP13 on cassette at £4 and UK shipping is £5.60 extra for one cassette!

Don't think I'll bother.

I don't know where DW get their shipping costs from but £5.60 for one cassette is a joke!

@moonshake I am pretty sure the issue here is that all of the DW cassettes are shipping from the US west coast.

I ended up ordering them from Boomkat because shipping was cheaper and they had A Field In England. DW shipping costs are a joke. I like to support them directly, but this is the first time I've ordered through a third party just because of shipping.

I'd have preferred to order from Boomkat now knowing how high DW postage is.

Confusion occured for me when DW emailed saying the tapes had arrived in London on 27th Nov - but then later that day issue them for sale charging US shipping rates.

I have a sub, but have also started ordering DWR stuff from other places due to the steep shipping costs. I was thinking about getting the 3 tapes + Evil Dead vinyl, but shipping to EU would come to £20.70. Instead I'm getting the Evil Dead + another vinyl from Norman (£4.75 shipping total) and will skip the tapes.

Yeah, I'd prefer clear over a color. I would be cool with black but it seems people don't like black. I'm curious if this will apply to the full bleed versions of DW1-6. I've seen an orange EFNY and a blue Prince of Darkness with the new sleeves on Instagram, but maybe he's just using old stock to fill the new sleeves. I'm still hoping Spencer puts the new sleeves up for sale as I'd rather not have a third copy of some of those.

I'm really wondering what the Sub 3 colorways will be. He showed a picture of the sub Room 213 which was split vinyl like the Goblin ep. I'm kinda hoping it's not that for AOP13. I missed out on the swirl version which sounded cool, but I may just order the solid vanilla as I find the solid pressings sound better sometimes than the splits or other mixes. It would be really cool if it was reverse swirl so blood red with vanilla swirl.

I finally got my cassette order from Mount Analog yesterday (I was waiting on a Mount Analog shirt to complete my order). I'm looking forward to listening to A Field in England and AOP13 later tonight.

I've ordered Escape (+ twilight zone 7') on 17th september; time passes, and I noticed the packet hadn't arrived so I mailed through the website to ask about it, where someone replyed that I have to give the receipt to double check : I sent the paypal receipt, and waited. I sent a second mail to orders@DW, butno reply from them.
I'm worried about this order ; I understand that the twilight7' is sold out (as I ordered the last).

I spent almost 340£ (with the subscription) on your website since september, I'm a bit disappointed with the non-reply about this order.

Hi Henry - DW are frankly rubbish at responding to emails. It is their biggest flaw, in my opinion, for what is otherwise a great business. If you don't keep the customer happy, you lose the customer.

I'd keep sending emails, as eventually they do respond.

We're meant to be getting a tote bag, which isn't really that exciting. I'm hoping we get something great as an extra, considering the £20 price increase and the fact that this sub doesn't seem to be coming with a box like the previous 2.
