I know next to nothing about this, but ordered as a blind buy, along with Body Love (on the way).

It's Piovani. He did the music for ''the Perfume of the Lady in Black''. I'm not familiar with the music but I think it could be a good blind buy.

It says right there on the cover that it is the score "Rode Haar." If you're not familiar with the film, I strongly encourage a viewing of it out and its landmark sequel, "Rode Haar And Put Away Wet." Great stuff.

I have not seen the movie. It is a quality score. I think I placed it on my want list after seeing @ScoJo spinning it. It costs me around 5 euro.

It is the subscriber variant and I bought it from a former STBC contributor (who probably still lurks around here). Excellent condition. Played it yesterday and it sounded terrific.
What issues did you have with some copies?

Nothing with sound quality, just sellers not grading fairly, and in one case someone who sent it on the worst packaging I can imagine, and then bringing out violins about how tough their personal situation was so that I wouldn't ask for a refund. I don't have a single copy of it that's not got seam splits. At that point, it was the only DWRC release that I hadn't got somehow, which made it worse. There were probably about 30 LPs at that time. There are now many that I don't have - I decided I couldn't keep up shortly after getting DD!

Yeah, getting those early DW releases without seam splits was about as likely as receiving one of those random color variants by Mondo. That‘s something I for sure don‘t miss about ‚the good old days‘.

I’ve been working like a maniac lately and have had a lot going on, so I haven’t had time to listen to anything in about 4 weeks!
