Well, I’ve slowed down on a lot of purchases of late because I was working on a deal to buy a massive lot, which I was successful in.

behold: 22 Capitol Hi-Q “D” series LPs!
I managed to find the final unidentified Creepshow cue among these discs too!

The whole lot is 78 discs (!) but they are being shipped to me in chunks so it’s not one giant heavy package.

Another bonus for me here is that a huge percentage of the Night of the Living Dead cues are among these discs, and they sound incredible here (definitely superior to the Waxwork version).

Still can’t believe these are actually in my house.
(one disc is missing cause it’s on the turntable!)

thanks, all! I’m still pinching myself a bit that I get to listen to these original LPs (and that I now have all of the Creepshow library music as well!).

And I can’t believe I literally have less than half of this lot!

@dollar, as you might know, on that eerie track listing, one of those is the opening scene of NOTLD (track 4) and one is the end credits (track 7). Track 3 is the posse scene.

There are a handful of digitizations of a bunch of these out there, but there are so many here that haven’t seen the light of (digital) day, ever. I am so blown away by how great all of this music is.

I have another batch that arrived yesterday, but I’m going to wait until Tuesday’s batch arrives to get a pic.

@million thankfully I actually have some time to do those Discogs entries - they take forever when you’re doing the track ID codes and everything. I’m just going to keep putting them in as I get them. I can’t believe that I have only 33 out of 78 LPs I bought - more are coming next week so I’ll have a lot more to add then.
