Whoop! Beautiful They Live copy - as much as I admire the Alan Hynes design of the DW reissue, it’s not the copy I ever reach for.

Does your Electra Glide come with all the posters, including the gigantic 6ft panoramic monument valley beauty? I’ve been threatening to have mine flattened and framed for years (when I have the wall space big enough!)

I didn’t bother to picture it, but for whatever reason, my local store had two copies and I bought both. one had a nice disc but no posters (but it did have the giant booklet), and the other had a more scuffed record, but had the posters and the printed inner sleeve. Once I get them cleaned, I’ll figure out which stays and which goes. (They were like $6 each so I can’t complain.)

Godzilla has a real wrap around obi, not a fold over spine one. Is this a first for them?

They've had a few real obi's over the years. The more limited of their original Halloween release and the newest Terminator movie come to mind.

Like inks I too was away for the weekend. I did something I haven’t done in a long time and that was travel out of the country and into the US. The US road border opened up to us Canadians on the 8th. I was planning on driving and picking up my mountain of records (about 12 parcels or so) at a parcel pickup I use but the weather took a turn for the worse. I didn’t want to cancel my trip to Minneapolis so I bit the bullet and flew in. This gave me more time to look for records haha. I ended up going to 5-6 stores and it’s a pretty mixed bag of records I took home. By far the best store on my trip was a place called Mill City Sound, if your ever in Minni I recommend this place for sure. Another cool little spot was Hymies vintage records.

I got to say I had a blast over the weekend I met a bunch of new people mostly people from Minneapolis obviously but I did meet a couple cool dudes from across the pond as well who like me took a trip down to Minneapolis for the weekend.
