I have a terrible feeling that I’m going to have to have that OG now.

I was doing a bunch of stuff in my office and didn’t notice that the reissue was mono, just that the EQ sounded nice.
But now it’s gonna haunt me.

I listened to woman's colours, yellow/red cover and the disc with a black label. track B3.

drums bass guitars in the middle. bass a little overcooked in the original mix
flute- left
electric keys- wide right in the mix
clavinet thing (is it a clavinet?)- phased
I also think they may have overdubbed some drums into that phased clavinet hit

the phased clavinet parts sound awesome with the cans on

killer record i'd love to hear the music scene press and see if it sounds any different

Haha, thanks Jimmy.
For some reason I thought OG Women’s Colors go for around $200 and I was like, well, maaaaaybe.
But the only copies I’m finding are like twice that.
Maybe if I sell off a whole bunch of stuff. Maaaybe. I do have a really intense love for this record.

Speaking of Black Heart, I was poking around listening to random stuff on Discogs and stumbled upon this record which literally uses the rhythm tracks from Black Heart!
(I think it’s a different recording because it’s a little slower but it’s definitely the same drum and bass parts, with different melodies on top of them!)

yea ball bearing group - experience LP is composed by barigozzi group (barigozzi & rocchi)

so probably 'experience' is a kind of remake of woman's colours

experience vs woman's colours:

A1 driver gang //// B3 black heart
A3 opening n 1 //// A7 lilac arms
A4 speed marimbas //// A1 violet lips
B3 opening n2 //// A6 red face
B5 channel information //// A4 silver legs

i can recognize these tracks

Stuff I ordered during the 2HD sale.
For all the horror stories I’ve heard about them taking forever to ship stuff, this all went out super fast. One record was backordered but I got a shipping notification this morning so I guess that’s on its way too.

The Carras stuff is really cool, but I’m glad I got each of these for super cheap - they’re not very long records and a lot of the cues are really short. But it’s all pretty good stuff.

New haul! More Future land and Columbia CQ series. More of those Vinycord LPs, and another amazing Osamu Tezuka's Hino Tori related LP. And lastly a mind-blowing box set of background music for art installation projections by Joji Yuasa, early electronics, tape manipulation, field recordings and abstract orchestrations, really great stuff.

That Projections LP sounds like my cup of tea. Nice haul

@dollar, I just looked up Projections, looks like it's a 5LP set??? It's currently for sale on discogs at the very low low price of $550, although it's highest sale is $250. How much did you get that for? Also that white cover looks incredibly clean for being released in '75

@inksb I got it for around 6000 yen I think much of the material may have been reissued on CD or vinyl, but still good to have this og box set ;)

@elifunk, precisely.

Here is some of the music from the projections box set.

The track is actually three compositions, the third is particularly partinent. At 13:15 "A memorial for two men of peace, murdered."

This is about a week’s worth of stuff.
I also got a bunch of amazing old Synchrofox library records but they’re generic covers; they’re not much to look at so I didn’t bother to include them here.

It’ll be interesting to see what this Ritmo sounds like vs the Sonor version.

This La Maschera Del Demonio release is really really nice.

Beautiful sounding mastering, absolutely dead quiet pressing.
