Top notch mail day.
The 4 Italian records were shipped in one box on March 24, if you can believe that. Scanned into NYC on April 15 and was never scanned again (it doesn’t even show that it was delivered).
I was starting to think it was lost forever.

Nice ones!

I am in the same boat but the other way around. I have an order from Terror Vision that has been scanned going from the US to Europe on April 15. No news since. Also the last Ryder Records record is still on route...

Customs for parcels in/out of the US are totally backlogged for some countries. I had one I sent to the UK sit in outbound customs in San Francisco for over a month from March to April before it was released to London. Alternately, I've have one sitting in Tokyo international since April 8th that has still not been to released to a cargo flight yet. It's going to take a lot of patience for a while.

@bez that shirt is such a bummer, I can't believe how bad the printing is on it.

Big delivery day for me today. On the left is Benny the Butcher & 38 Spesh - Stabbed & Shot (hip-hop), middle is Fabio Fabor N`38-Infini and on the right is 輕描淡寫 - 小圈子 or just called by lots of people Mana 003. I've been hunting for this one for 2.5 years at this point, it originally released on cassette back in 2018 and I missed it by a day. Never saw a cassette go up on discogs until this company Vill4in reissued it on vinyl and cassette back in January. I managed to snag it's 2nd or 3rd pressing on vinyl and I'm very happy to have it finally.

I try not to buy bootlegs if I can help it, but I can’t afford the OG Woman’s Colors, so until I can, I’m stuck with this one. (I also hate the cover - wonder why they bothered to do a new one?)

Where can one purchase the bootleg and is it relatively cheap?

I’ve been looking for one forever. Never seen one for sale on discogs. I actually lucked out and found this one on eBay (and I got it for about $32).

I didn’t even know it was a bootleg (just thought it was a plain old reissue) until I read the discogs reviews - some seem to say it’s licensed, though more folks were saying it isn’t.

One thing I can tell you that no reviews bothered to - it sounds terrific.

Looks like it came out in 2015 in Germany.

this is how my copies sound:

(OG) barigozzi - b3 black heart

(REPRESS) barigozzi - b3 black heart

THANK YOU for this! kind of scared to hear the difference (I worry it's going to make me plunk down a ridiculous amount for this record, as it's one of my all-time favorites).

wait - is the repress really in mono?
I didn't notice that listening last night, but in your samples, the reissue definitely seems mono. The bass is also a little overcooked but I think it's not terrible.

OK, now I'm even more confused.
The original sounds like a lot of the center info is out of phase in some kind of an effort to make stereo? But then I hear horn stabs and things that are clearly real stereo. I am so mystified.

WEIRDER STILL

the two different rips of this record on YouTube don't sound like either one of these!
They sort of sound like the EQ from the reissue (maybe less overcooked bass). But the panning of the stabs are more like your OG - except *reversed*! And the center sounds like it's totally in phase.

Do you have the version with the yellow cover, or the sort of pale greenish one?
