I’ll let you know in a few days! I’m just starting a couple of days of heavy work and I won’t be able to really investigate thoroughly until maybe Saturday.

With most of these releases, I found some videos of these and preview 3-5 tracks (not too many, so the whole LP isn’t spoiled), and if I’m really into the majority of the tracks, then I’ll order em.

I liked everything I heard from all four of these enough (and there was a seller on Discogs selling all four pretty cheap) that I grabbed them all, so my answer might be...all of them?

Alright which one do I need to own? I love the artwork on these.

Bass Modulations is the best by a huge margin. Funky bomb IMHO. Clouds is 2nd and also excellent. Disagio Sociale is interesting but more pastoral. Idee not my favorite but not a bad record. Tempo spirito or whatever the Ales record is called is just church music. Religious vocal and organ, it's a pass for me.

This label does a nice job with the reissues.

But yeah - any more recommendations?
Is there a point to getting that New Tape comp record? I definitely felt like I heard that Mirage was “the one to get”. I didn’t know if the comp was worth getting.

The comp is decent. But mirage for sure the best!!

Did you already pick up the reissue of Trip Around the World and Spontaneous? Those are both current favorites getting a lot of platter time

I also recommend the sonorama reissue of Q1

That Child's Play? Is it the Waxwork sub release? I got 2 shipping notices from Waxwork but no idea what they are. I assumed Friday the 13th Part 6 and Child's Play...

PT is exactly what you think it's from, the Playstation demo from a few years ago and it's a bootleg. It's a really nicely crafted piece that includes audio excerpts (the phone calls, radio station snippets) and the music. I was impressed with it, it's really creepy and atmospheric. It also came in a "bloodied & dirtied" paper bag.
