Very nice, @dollar ^

By the way... I bit the bullet and snagged that £26 discogs copy of the 3xLP Japanese film music box set featuring Takemitsu-san etc. It's a white label promo with slightly battered box and no obi, and was 30bucks shipping, but the LPs are meant to be VG+ (which from a J-seller likely translates as Mint minus ;) and has the booklet. I'm excited for this one, thanks for the (repeated!) tip off!

I’m now only 3 records away from having all of the Dawn of the Dead library LPs.
(the Absolute Elsewhere LP isn’t part of DOTD but it showed up yesterday.)

Nice! @scojo I think you will really appreciate all the Toru takemitsu on there, some other great peices on there from Masaru Sato and Teizo Matsumura also (I wouldn't be surprised if it's unplayed)., also as it's a promo it is quite likely it would never have had an obi.

I know, I know, I’ve gone crazy in the last couple of weeks.
This Videodrome is the biggest score here. Still in shrink, flawless vinyl - $50 on Discogs!

Today's arrivals, thanks to @hatter for picking up the Mr. Eff record for me

Happy to! I gave it a spin the other night, great stuff. I picked up that commando finally myself a few months back, I’m forever in awe of how he made an action score out of steel drums.

This arrived yesterday. I lucked out last week, I was browsing LITA's website and as I like to do a few times a week. I hovered over this album and it didn't say Out of Stock like it has for the last year. I clicked on it and it allowed me to place an order. I figured, what the hell, if they don't really have any they will just cancel it like they did with a few orders I've placed in the past on stuff that should be marked OOS. Well the next day LITA made a post on IG saying they found a box of these in the warehouse and they put them up on the site. They were gone with in a few hours of that post. They were a little scummy imo as the price has always been $25 for the album and they raised it up $5 just for this batch but they could have just been real assholes and sold them through discogs at the inflated prices that every one else sells them for so I don't really mind the minor increase. Plus at $35 w/ shipping it's still cheaper than the Japanese reissue from Great Tracks.

Videodrome sooo good, nice.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the (digital?) masters are lost on this one - seems inconcievable that it hasn't yet been reissued, especially considering Mondo's Cronen-Shore campaign a few years back.

If you have a spotify/google music/apple subscription it should be on those platforms (at least it's on google) but just in case you don't have one you can listen to it here. Just as a heads up the first song can be a touch off putting as there is a "toy" horn sound that repeats through out the song but the rest of the album is fantastic.

The absurdity of this is not lost on me.

and side note, YES, that Electric Banana is the last record I needed to complete all of the Dawn library stuff.

Superground, in particular, is pretty amazing.
