I did! I’m super stoked. That’s one of those IPs I impulsively collect so It’ll be good to have an OG. It’s set up so differently from the way I’m used to listening to that score so I’m excited to dive in, and I can’t wait to hear how it sounds.

I was going to bid on that Creepshow but felt like it was going to go above what I wanted to pay because it was already a few dollars away from it. Glad you got it Hatter, what was the final damage?

$52, I was ready for it to jump in the last few minutes but I’m glad it didn’t. I was ready to go, but I’ve been binge buying a lot lately so I’m happy to move that money to another record as well.

I’m curious what other type of things you have in your Creepshow collection? Like you I love this movie. I have the reissue of the GN that came out a couple years. I still haven’t watched that Just Desserts doc but I know I really should.

I’ve had those masks in my cart so many times in the last year but I don’t have room for more masks, I currently have the 3 EC hosts up on a bookshelf and it’s about all the room I can spare, and I only take out the silver shamrock ones for halloween.

I do have a very cool French creepshow 2 poster thanks like 4’ x 5’ or something, it’s on newsprint and folded up safely for one day when I can spare the wall space

Here’s a pic of the same one

Full-head 'Something To Tide You Over' Trick or Treat Studios masks or GTFO ;)
Man it would be awesome to have some of those sweet masks. I would love to buy one or two some day. There just so many I would want.

Creepshow is one of my favorite movies of all time and I have an insane amount of Creepshow stuff.

I’ve visited most of the filming locations, and I basically got started on my obsession with the Capitol Hi-Q library as a direct result of the quest to identify and own all of the library music used in Creepshow (which I did!).

I’ll post some of my rarer stuff later this weekend or early next week, if you guys wanna see.
(I just started a big job at work and I’ll be busy for a few days.)

I for one would love to see any/everything you got. That awesome about having all the library music. I have the la la land CD and it has a couple of the library tracks. I don’t think it’s all of them
Though.

Yeah there’s something like 47-ish pieces of library music in there! The LaLaLand one has a few of them and they’re cool but obviously there’s way more.

Congrats Hatter! It's a great feeling to knock long time wants off the list.

Havershaw, would also love to see all of your Creepshow goodness.

This landed today.

This is a killer score Bub, one I played to death on release (during the DFC so like to think we turned a few fence-dwelling folks on to it...) but has lain a little dormant the last few years. I will correct that tomorrow cheers.

Great memory, Dollar.

I'm certain you influenced my adding of it to the wantlist at that time ;)

Right before this VS nonsense started, I had placed a few orders to fill in some glaring omissions regardless of label. Basically I’ve got records coming for a while but the first of them landed today. Sleeve is a little beat up, but the wax is SHINEY as all hell.

Mostly library mail day today. These Kenny Bird records got here quick from Germany (unlike the Chappell I ordered in early December which I see has *just* entered the US).

Small story which accompanies one of my favorite Creepshow items:

When I was maybe 15-16, I had a friend who was somehow friends w Tom Savini. One time we went over to his house, and his bedroom was like this insane archive of books, movies, scripts, etc.
I see some a few old encyclopedias of the weird or occult or something (I can’t remember what they were now) which I happened to have at home, found at a yard sale. I have a near complete set. Savini wants to trade, asks me what I’ll take for it.
I see a first draft Creepshow script in a binder and ask him to let me borrow it and photocopy it, which, incredibly, he agrees to.
It had some of his effects notes in it (he underlined any passages that would require him to do an effect) and these little numbered tabs that stuck up, denoting any effects he might be responsible for. (I replicated the tabs by just writing at the top of each page in marker.)
Still surprised he let a relative stranger borrow the script, but anyway, I’ve taken it to a few cons and gotten some cool signatures on it (plus I just love reading this first draft - lots of changes were made later, including story order).

Oh wowsers. That whole tale and the pics of the holy object has blown up my day 100%. Think the
ost is going to need to be pulled out for a spin today, and maybe a rewatch of Just Deserts since it has been mentioned a few times recently!

Oh wow that’s beyond awesome dude, what an amazing piece to have.

Even cooler with the autographs, Adrienne! Be still my heart haha.

I’ve got Romero’s sig on a little 11x17 mini poster of the Wrightson version. I met him at MOMA at the NOTLD remaster premiere but didn’t get anything signed, a little later I found this mini poster on eBay to signed to my name from someone who got it at a horror con a few years back. I consider it the universe course correcting my stupidity at not getting anything signed that day.
