what the fuck happened here last night?
After seeing this I am not calling myself a soundtrack collector anymore. You guys clearly know what you are doing.
Seriously, Bez. I'm in the shallow end of the pool with you and I might still be out of my depth. This is where the metal meets the meat.

I distinctly recall seeing a post on Instagram years ago of a bunch of OG horror scores he had just gotten in, I told my friend that we were going right then and there and when I walked in the door the kid behind the counter calls into the back “yeah, that worked”

@Hatter - I share that memory and I think you are correct that it was an STBC adjacent score. Also, your tale of being thirst trapped by your local record store is a thing of beauty. I read it to Mrs Sanboval this evening and we shared in your good natured chuckle. Well told you.
I remember this as well, especially hearing about the copies of Manhattan Baby and L'Aldila for something like $1 each, right?
Really enjoying the Varèse-a-thon going on here.
Yup, it was crazy

Thanks @inks what titles do to have? Also I’ve seen some of the Video Game soundtracks you post. Talk about jealousy
I have Richard Band's Mutant, Morricone's The Island and Berlin Game's Down Twisted. There may be a few others that I'm blanking on but nothing like what's around here.

Sweet Mutant and the Island are both on my want list. I don’t know what Down Twisted is what type of music is it?

When I first posted I left off all the new stuff but I’m thinking I might take a pic of my newer releases today.

This is everything (I think) except the new stuff and a handful of non film music releases.

Tangerine Dream type music my friend. I'll let some others more educated than me enlighten you on the thoughts about the album but it's a must own and it can usually be had for cheap.
Entire album here:

At first I was like oh damn static has some great stuff in his collection, scrolled down farther and realized that there were 5 more photos...holy hell gentlemen. I feel like I should just back out of the room slowly and disappear, I will never have any thing on this level especially with the rising prices.

Let’s not forget Tim’s guest appearance on the DFC as the South’s official Goldsmith archivist!
Can I request a JG collection snap shot or 7?

With Static's photo and including Tim's five year update as well as ScoJ's rough estimate, we likely have three active board members with over one hundred vintage VS titles in their collection.
