100% agree. Vastly under-rated film and score IMO

I have been in this business a long time. Now if I don't want to do a show, it's not because I got stage fright. It's because some creature from beyond doesn't want me to do the show. Now gangway.

Bought this ^^ lovely Dawn of Dead off ebay with a massive paint splodge on it. Gutted! I sent a long moany email stating that obviously the seller has good taste with a record of this caliber and he should appreciate the vinyl more so and how the fuck could he sell it on to someone else with the same love for this shit. Got a full refund,it's still in my draw

God I hate moaning! and try not to do it too much, but apparently I'm a bit of a cross between Grumpy and Victor Meldrew! Nice one.

I really look forward to the day when there is a proper edition of The Thin Blue Line soundtrack on vinyl without all the film dialogue. It's one of my favorite soundtracks.

I'm in the final stretch with getting stuff photographed n' listed on Flickr......just have a few crates of "randoms" to do in the next few days...it's been fun, having a few days off work and sitting around catching up on all the lovely stuff I've been scoring recently, mostly thanks to all these new, boutique labels - spending all this time on them, I really get a new appreciation of what FKR, Trunk, DW, Waxwork, OWS, Mondo, and others are doing to feed our appetite for unusual film sounds. Thanks to you all!

Btw ... the Dark Star isn't an LP - it's a German-only 7" that has an excerpt from DS on one side, and the theme from Assault on P13 on the other!

Ok, so I have decided to post this, as my rebuttal to "variant fever", which I think we can all agree is way out of hand.

I am usually just as guilty as anyone when it comes to wanting special, or limited versions of things. However, I won't buy multiple copies for a better chance at getting a variant. I can't flip or sell off unwanted vinyl, cause I suck at being responsible and mailing shit. And when it comes to the randomly inserted vinyl, my luck is beyond horrible.

Case in point: I have never received a randomly inserted color variant from Mondo. Nor have I purchased any Mondo vinyl elsewhere and received a variant. The only time I receive a color is if that is the only color offered for that version. So, at some point, I decided to seek out the black versions. I could get them for cheap from people trying to unload their 2nd copies. And even when I bought them sealed from Mondo or Amoeba, my luck stayed consistantly bad, which was a good thing.

Depends on your love of big string suspense scores, peppered with light electronics. It's pretty dissonant stuff at times, but as a score for the film, I think it's great.

I love Timecrimes, as well as the boatload of films that ripped it off - especially Triangle.

Wow,that is truly bad odds. Not to be a dick but I have gotten prob at least 75% variants. I only purchased one copy but I keep getting lucky I guess, knock on wood. Yours still all look great.
