Have you ever seen the Rock Afire Explosion documentary, it's great.
No, there is a documentary? That's awesome. I liked keyboard gorilla named after Fats Domino!

Hadn't heard of this one and the label said limited to 500
Cory - Nice scoop. I plan to pick up a few of those in SF on Friday. Was it really pressed by Beat Records?

Also, how was was the show? :)

The show was great. they sounded really good and played a few extra songs after the movie. The lady on vocals was my favorite part of the band. :)

and yeah that Shark LP is on Beat/Ribot
has both DDJLP02 DLX and Ribot-LP001 on the spine

^Hm, I was wondering if another label was involved. AFAIK, Beat Records hasn't released any vinyl themselves since the late 80's. Another question for Daniele tomorrow night. ;)

Glad to hear you enjoyed the show. I can't wait to experience it myself.

Actually, Beat Records released this title on 180 gram vinyl in a 300 copy edition a few months ago (Beat Records.it DDJ | DDJLP01DLX):

Beat also released this on CD at the same time. More info here.

@blue15 - Nice! That is great info. What do you make of the Ribot label name also attached to the Shark LP? There is a seemingly-defunct label with the same name on Discogs with some random titles.

Also, it's quite something to see Beat releasing vinyl again. Ka is a wheel...

@Spun - They brought with that Barbican Bootleg CD.
If you have a copy left ;-)

Haha, sorry, but all of these are spoken for already, but I will see how it shakes out. Please feel free to ask me in advance of any shows you know I am attending. Many others already do so...

@ScoJo - They did say that about half of the pressing is still in Rome and will be brought with for the UK gigs later this month. There is not going to be a repress. Also, expect a Frizzi "poliziotteschi" OST on vinyl from Beat in the near future. I won't say which one. ;)

@Spun - Yes, it's a single CD in a slipcase. Very cool that both Blastfighter and material from the Italian TV movie Delitto in via Teulada were performed at that show!

The Austin concert is a 2CD in a jewel case. I was told it was recorded with a left/right pair of room microphones and sounds "very live". Excited to listen to both of these. The photographs on the back sleeves from both shows are two of my favorites as well. Spencer probably shot both of them. ;)
