you have to host it externally somewhere, flickr etc.

then you click on the last button in the post editor and paste in the url/link to the image url field and apply image to insert into the msg.

At the mo, the image doingses here don't like the way that flickr formats urls so the links break. I use photobucket for general pic-hosting shenanigans, it's free and works fine on here :)

Superb Ennio Morricone record. Underrated and fairly cheap to find online. Beautiful vocal tracks and some dark, mental Morricone 'funk'.

Fine jazzy suspense score from Lalo Schifrin. Nice whistling too! Japanese pressing.

so just a beware to everyone. my wife recently bought DW's The Devil's Business OST for me for father's day from Bleep.com, a UK based website. she was excited because the description read:

"Low budget Brit slasher The Devil’s Business (2012) is noted for three things: its similarity to Kill List, its thumbs-up from top horror critic Kim Newman and this spine tingling score from drone/sludge producer Justin Greaves. An echo of the tunes he makes when part of Crippled Black Phoenix, these creepy synth textures have been darkened by tenor vocals and come pressed on red and yellow vinyl with a 24” poster."

and for $33 USD (shipping included), we thought this was a hell of a deal. i thought, "hell yes! the subscriber edition!!!". i live in the US, so it took a week or two to arrive. when i opened it yesterday, i was giddy with excitement! turns out it was black vinyl. not sure what to do. it doesn't seem worth the trouble or cost to pay shipping to send it back to the UK. i mean, the black vinyl is fine too, but i could have ordered that from Light in the Attic for $25 USD (shipping included). seems bleep.com just copied that description from somewhere without realizing they did not have the colored vinyl.

long story short, be careful when ordering from them for certain items as the items may be mis-represented. my wife is going to email them to see what options we have, but i am more than likely just going to keep the black vinyl. it's still gorgeous, and dammit, i want to listen to it! :)

what would you guys do in this situation?

Bleep are reputable; if I'm not mistaken they were founded by Warp Records. Sounds like an honest mistake, definitely email them; maybe if you want to keep it you could hint at a shipping refund or gift token as gesture of good will?

they seem like a legit site, and the record arrived in a decent amount of time and packaged well, so it definitely seems like an honest mistake. my wife already emailed them (nicely of course) to see what could be done.

A word of warning on the DIRTY HARRY ANTHOLOGY, though once upon a time this was the only way to get the music from DIRTY HARRY (apart from the DIRTY HARRY SUITE released on 7" which was an excellent fast romp through the main themes from DIRTY HARRY)the quality is not great, Scorpio's theme for example has a strange echo effect on it. If you can get it cheap, it's still a decent buy, but if you want the authentic Schifrin score with high quality sound taken from the master tapes, then you should go for the 2004 DIRTY HARRY OST on CD. Unfortunately, it wasn't released on vinyl.

I spent more than 15 years looking for the original OST to DIRTY HARRY on vinyl before the internet came along and I found Warner Bros never released one! The DIRTY HARRY SUITE 7" was all there was, what a shame!

I honestly don't even remember what the score for this is like, but the movie has left such an indelible mark on me that I really couldn't pass up the vinyl.

White label college radio promo of the Lost Angels soundtrack. I've got a release copy of this one, but $5 seemed like a reasonable price...

Took a quick listen to this one, and the dialogue on it is stunning.

Of all these, I think my current favorite is The Last Run. Never heard of it or seen it, but the Goldsmith score is really top notch.

THE LAST RUN is a great OST, I'm not a huge Goldsmith fan, but this one is splendid. It's very Schifrin, in fact, one track is almost the same as the BULLET main theme.

LAST RUN is killer - only discovered myself recently. Diabolik, you just need to hear the right Goldsmiths! ;)

Yah I'm excited to get to learn it. Only one listen in! Outland is pretty good too in his more Poltergeist/80s slightly generic classical style, plus there's an unexpected synth thing in the middle that's fun, though I suspect someone else made it.
