so just a beware to everyone. my wife recently bought DW's The Devil's Business OST for me for father's day from Bleep.com, a UK based website. she was excited because the description read:
"Low budget Brit slasher The Devil’s Business (2012) is noted for three things: its similarity to Kill List, its thumbs-up from top horror critic Kim Newman and this spine tingling score from drone/sludge producer Justin Greaves. An echo of the tunes he makes when part of Crippled Black Phoenix, these creepy synth textures have been darkened by tenor vocals and come pressed on red and yellow vinyl with a 24” poster."
and for $33 USD (shipping included), we thought this was a hell of a deal. i thought, "hell yes! the subscriber edition!!!". i live in the US, so it took a week or two to arrive. when i opened it yesterday, i was giddy with excitement! turns out it was black vinyl. not sure what to do. it doesn't seem worth the trouble or cost to pay shipping to send it back to the UK. i mean, the black vinyl is fine too, but i could have ordered that from Light in the Attic for $25 USD (shipping included). seems bleep.com just copied that description from somewhere without realizing they did not have the colored vinyl.
long story short, be careful when ordering from them for certain items as the items may be mis-represented. my wife is going to email them to see what options we have, but i am more than likely just going to keep the black vinyl. it's still gorgeous, and dammit, i want to listen to it!
what would you guys do in this situation?
