It's a cover of De Masi's New York Ripper theme by a band called Another Dead Junkie, and it's pretty good with some thick bass lines. More Fulci filth from the gorehounds at Eibon Press. They have also been running a Maniac vs NYR theme.

The madness of doing a flexi disk appeals. Sadly getting these issues shipped to the UK just proved too expensive for me in the end. I see they are starting to do compendiums however (with Zombie for example), that might work out more viable than buying the individual comics.

Nice grip of data records. I am a sucker for these and love the label aesthetic.

I am enjoying this record. Except for the five "tracks" at the end which the record describes as library tracks but are actually just metronome tracks, like a high hat tapping out a 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4. It doesn't make any damn sense at all why they are on here, totally baffling and without a doubt should have been omitted.

@James Michael - I'll never turn my nose up at a good eff you; well played.

@Nathaniel - The Policenauts was my impulse buy here. I know nothing of the game, but when I see something that popular/recommended, I check it out and, in this case, was blown away. I love it. So, since I had room for another 2xLP before the shipping increased, I pulled the trigger.

@Tex - These "metronome" tracks are so confounding and intriguing that I'm almost tempted to pull the trigger just to see what they're about. Almost.

@Havershaw - Which ones did you pick up?

I bought the first Datadisk release when it came out, but sold it a year later because I decided Videogame soundtracks is not something I want to start collecting. The same for library records. I know I will love listening to a lot of them, but there are so many soundtracks I still want.

Red vinyl and black sleeves just keeps rolling in:

I might source a black vinyl copy of Mandy, as my translucent red has some consistent surface noise, or maybe it just needs a few more cleanings and listens. The pressing is nice and loud though. Have not dived into Puppet Master I/II yet.
