Nice haul!!! Hope you find time this weekend to catch up on listening to everything.

I actually bought a couple of french library today from a dude with some discounted stuff hopefully will be in decent enough shape. Challenger on freesound, basse contra basse, continental pop sound, & patchwork 4. I blame you haha

@texas! sorry.

I never should have wandered into that Library thread. I was happy just getting charged more and more each year by Mondo/Waxwork etc for fancy packaging and deluxe reissues, but now I’m like “hey, this library record is only $100, that’s not so bad for this one and I might never see it again this cheap.”

great stuff @havershaw! that Neuilly looks way too lovely!

i have two MP2000 that are heading towards my shelf. funny thing is that i have purchased these in last year through discogs, but the seller has never replied. sent him about 10 messages begging for shipping costs and an invoice because these were so cheap. totally forgot about them and out of a sudden, the seller sent the invoice over the weekend. nothing special, just some gap fillers, but still really happy to get them...

Big mail day for me. Three anime OST's (Nausicaa, Iczer One Act II & III) courtesy of our fine brother @dollar and a cheap discogs pick up of Morricone's The Island. Excited to dive into these.

Awesome glad to see they arrived safely! If you ever plan to get act I, it was released in two parts a 12" 45rpm and LP. Soo confusing "Iczer One Act I part 1" and "Iczer One Act I part 2" was thinking the latter was act II for some time ;D thankfully there isn't an Iczer Two!

Thanks for the heads up, it seems Act 1 part 1 is pretty cheap. I may pick that up soon. I didn't realize there was a part 2, I'll investigate. I definitely want the complete set now :)

Nice one! Vladimir Cosma did a lot of good stuff on Patchwork it seems, like that Bowery track on his Patchwork 3 record. I didn't found any clips on the web of that Drama record but it seems good! Funny enough that copy of Aria Paese was in the record store for several months, nobody grabbed it till I found it

Nice haul!

Check out this Silver Surfer. Metallic inks, printed insert and etching. Totally and completely unnecessary in the best way. The follin Bros could program some killer chiptunes. They probably got a chip and some vague instructions in Japanese and had to just figure it out. Crazy what they were able to come up with on such limited hardware.

I've been seeing pics of this pop up on IG and holy hell is that an impressive looking release. Always thought that OST was one of the great NES ones that a lot of folks just ignore. What label did this one?

I finally found a copy of this long-sought treasure here in the US, and I was even able to negotiate it down to a fair price. It will now console me in my deep isolation and seclusion (aka my normal life):

The long full version of the track 'Come Maddalena' blew my lid off when I first heard it (on More Mondo Morricone) and it continues to blow my head off every time.
